Vishnu

“Vishnu” is a digital painting inspired by my transformative journey through India in January 2025.
Infused with vivid impressions from the South, especially the state of Kerala, the work channels the spirit of creation, preservation, and dream-like multiplicity.
A pivotal moment of this trip was a visit to the sacred Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram — one of the most spiritually charged places I have ever encountered.
Gaining entry required us to obtain an official confirmation of belonging to the Hindu faith — a rare and somewhat surreal experience that intensified the sense of crossing into another symbolic dimension.
The temple’s interior, rich with sacred geometry, golden relics, and the recurring iconography of Vishnu — including the serpent (Ananta), the lotus, the conch, and the chakra — left a lasting imprint on my visual thinking.
The painting was created using my signature NEXT transformation technique: a layered digital process merging intuitive gesture, algorithmic abstraction, and spiritual symbolism.
The name Vishnu reflects the principle of balance amidst chaos — a recurring theme in my work — echoed here in the chromatic layers, hidden symmetries, and a sense of suspended time.
