Shiva

“Shiva” is a digital painting that traces its genesis back to my visit to the Elephanta Caves near Mumbai—where the colossal Sadashiva Trimurti and the deep‐framed friezes first stirred in me a vision of cosmic balance and divine force.
Born from that encounter in January 2025, this piece channels the dual essence of Shiva: the serene yogi and the fierce destroyer. Utilizing my signature NEXT transformation technique, I’ve woven intuitive digital gestures with algorithmic abstraction, embedding spiritual symbolism into every layer.
The name Shiva evokes the paradox of destruction as rebirth—a dance mirrored in the painting’s layered geometry, spectral textures, and pulsing chiaroscuro. Echoing the cave sculptures—where Shiva emerges from the rock, half tranquil, half tempest—the composition merges solid forms with ethereal swirls and hidden symmetries, capturing his timeless role as creator, preserver, and liberator.
Here, the chromatic collisions and fractal rhythms become a visual mantra: an exploration of stillness within motion, and the sublime tension between chaos and equilibrium—an homage to the transformative power I first felt beneath the stone arches of Elephanta.
